RAMMSTEIN: 'Rosenrot' Single Details Revealed

November 11, 2005

According to Herzeleid.com, German industrial metallers RAMMSTEIN have selected the title track of their new album, "Rosenrot", as their next single. "Rosenrot" (the single) will be released on December 9, 2005 and will contain the following tracks:

01. Rosenrot (Single Version) (03:47)
02. Rosenrot (The Tweaker Remix by Chris Vrenna) (04:34)
03. Rosenrot (Northern Lite Remix by Northern Lite) (04:45)
04. Rosenrot (3AM At Cosy Remix by Jagz Kooner) (04:50)

Chris Vrenna has previously worked with NINE INCH NAILS, MARILYN MANSON, ROB ZOMBIE, SMASHING PUMPKINS and others. NORTHERN LITE is a German band from the city of Erfurt who describe their music as "neo pop." Jagz Kooner is a U.K.-born producer who has worked with the MANIC STREET PREACHERS, PRIMAL SCREAM and GARBAGE.

Universal U.K. has apparently confirmed that "Rosenrot" will be the international single, but the U.K. will get "Mann gegen Mann" instead. If this is true, it is presently unclear when the "Mann gegen Mann" single will be released in the U.K. or elsewhere. However, the band's keyboardist, Christian "Flake" Lorenz, said during a recent online chat that it will be issued in January 2006.

According to Universal Italy, the "Rosenrot" video has not yet been shot (contrary to some rumors) and the shooting will actually take place on November 12 and 13 in Bucharest, Romania. However, Romanian MTV has confirmed that is will actually take place in a village close to Brasov, Romania.
