RAMMSTEIN Frontman In 'Vinzent' Movie: Photos, Trailer Available

November 8, 2005

According to Herzeleid.com, RAMMSTEIN frontman Till Lindemann plays an animal-rights activist in an upcoming movie called "Vinzent". The release is planned for next year, though it was actually filmed in 2004. Shots from the film (including a few with Till),as well as a trailer, can be viewed on the film's official web site.

This is not the first time that Till has been in a movie. He briefly appeared in "Pola X" (1999) and "XXX" (2002). In 2003 he had his first real role in the children's film "Amundsen der Pinguin" and played the part of a "bad guy" who wanted to steal a penguin because it knew the location of lost treasure.

RAMMSTEIN's latest album, "Rosenrot", was released in Europe late last month via Universal. A limited-edition version of the album includes a bonus DVD featuring three live video clips recorded earlier in the year. A U.S. release date for the CD has yet to be announced.

As previously reported, RAMMSTEIN are nominated in the category "Best Live Act" for the "Eins Live" Krone award. Germany's biggest radio awards ceremony will be held at the Arena Oberhausen on November 24, 2005 and will be broadcast live by Eins Live radio at 7:00 p.m. and on TV by the WDR at 10:00 p.m.
