QUEENSRŸCHE's SCOTT ROCKENFIELD: Changing The Way Drums Are Seen

November 9, 2003

QUEENSRŸCHE drummer Scott Rockenfield has launched RockenWraps, a "most unique and truly new innovative concept in drum finishing."

The following is the RockenWraps sales pitch, as posted on the company's official web site:

"Designed and created by QUEENSRYCHE founder, drummer, and Grammy award-nominated composer Scott Rockenfield, RockenWraps will forever change the way drums are seen. Literally!!

" 'Designing a drum kit that was unique and stood out to the crowd was always my goal, yet the one thing that I could not find was something unique with the actual drum finish itself," says Rockenfield. 'Almost all of the finishes that were available were 'solids,' or 'sparkles,' or 'wood tones,' etc., etc. I wanted to be different!!!!...'

"RockenWraps can now give you exactly what you have always wanted in a highly creative, and extremely affordable design. Take that ordinary looking drum kit and convert it into a design that will set you apart from all others. The wraps are completely interchangeable. Why look typical when you can look extraordinary!! From abstract designs to just about anything you can imagine, RockenWraps is for you.... Hey, lookin' cool is half the battle..."
