QUEENSRŸCHE Guitarist, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD Mainman To Judge 'Unsigned Heavy Metal Band' Contest

If you're in an unsigned heavy metal band from British Columbia, Canada and think you've got the right licks to take home the loot, now is your chance to prove it.

From now until December 15, 2005, drop off your two-song demo CD, along with your contact information, to any Long & McQuade location in British Columbia.

Three bands will be selected to play at Metal Fest taking place January 5, 2006 at Buffalo Club (1161 Granville St., Vancouver.) One band will walk away with the grand prize, consisting of studio time at The Factory, and thousands of dollars worth of gear!
