PUNCHYOURFACE Singer Gets His Face Busted Up

March 4, 2004

PUNCHYOURFACE, the new band featuring INTERNAL BLEEDING members Frank Buffalino (guitar) and Matt Ferrara (guitar, ex-REPUDILATION, GFY, 420),have posted the following message on their web site:

"This past weekend we played some really fun shows, the 1st being here in NY at Saints & Sinners. Thanks to Sean and the staff for always taking care of us and thanks to all who came down to have a good time. Unfortunately the night ended with our new vocalist Murphy getting hit in the lip with a beer bottle, which resulted in 20 stitches. A drunken female in the crowd was responsible and thanks to the seething mass who did what had to be done. Aside from that a good time was had by all and you guys proved that Long Island kids dance hard.

"After getting home mad late from that show, a hospital visit and hangovers we climbed in the van and embarked on a 7& a half hour drive into deep PA in search of the House of Hardcore. We we're stir crazy when we arrived and felt like we we're in the middle of nowhere, but it was a pleasant surprise to see that HC is striving in Greensburg, PA. Bands if you get the opportunity to do a show at the House, do it. These guys have a tight scene and you can feel the genuine appreciation for hardcore music. Thanks to Tim for having us and thanks to Zane and the End Your Life Crew. Those Camo 40's done fucked us up!"
