PRONG: Video Interview With TOMMY VICTOR Available

April 25, 2008

On March 8, 2008, PRONG mainman and MINISTRY guitarist Tommy Victor visited San Antonio's cult TV show "Robb's MetalWorks" for a candid interview to discuss the PRONG's new release, "Power of the Damager". The first half of this 40-minute interview aired recently on the show's April 20, 2008 episode. "Robb's MetalWorks" is now delivering the edited second half of the interview with Tommy as a YouTube exclusive. See Tommy discuss his work with Al Jourgensen and the new MINISTRY touring band, the passing of Paul Raven, future collaborations and his legacy.

Watch the 10-minute clip below.

PRONG's latest album, "Power of the Damager", sold 1,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD "maintains the razor-sharp signature riffs band founder Tommy Victor has perfected over the last 20 years while harkening back to the rawness of PRONG's pioneering years as industrial metal's native son," according to a press release. "Most notable is the record's in-your-face production, which came courtesy of Victor himself."

Joining Victor in the PRONG trio is bassist Monte Pittman, a PRONG veteran who does double-duty as tour guitarist for none other than MADONNA, and drummer Aaron Rossi.

"Power of the Damager" is PRONG's first release for MINISTRY mainman Al Jourgensen's 13th Planet Records, a relationship that was kindled while Victor played with Jourgensen in MINISTRY.
