PRONG Mainman To Guest On SIRIUS SATELLITE's 'Hard Files'

October 9, 2007

PRONG mainman Tommy Victor will guest on the "Hard Files" program on Sirius Satellite Radio's Hard Attack on Thursday (October 11) at 7:00 p.m. EST. Rebroadcasts: Fridays at noon ET, Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. ET and Sundays at 6:00 p.m. ET. Join Victor and Sirius host Jose Mangin as they blast songs off the band's latest album, "Power of the Damager", and discuss the band's roots and reasons behind their longevity. You'll hear all about Tommy's relationships with Al Jourgensen from MINISTRY, Glenn Danzig from DANZIG, and his metalhead daughter who's totally into the genre of music her Dad help perfect.

A new PRONG song, entitled "The Banishment", is available for download at this location. The track comes off "Power of the Damager", which maintains the razor-sharp signature riffs band founder Tommy Victor has perfected over the last 20 years while harkening back to the rawness of PRONG's pioneering years as industrial metal's native son. Most notable is the record's in-your-face production, which came courtesy of Victor himself.

Joining Victor in the PRONG trio is bassist Monte Pittman, a PRONG veteran who does double-duty as tour guitarist for none other than MADONNA, and drummer Aaron Rossi.

"Power of the Damager" is PRONG's first release for MINISTRY mainman Al Jourgensen's 13th Planet Records, a relationship that was kindled while Victor played with Jourgensen in MINISTRY.

PRONG will begin touring in support of "Power of the Damager" later this month. A list of upcoming dates can be found at the band's MySpace page.
