PROJECT: FAILING FLESH Working On New Material

October 10, 2007

Tim Gutierrez of PROJECT: FAILING FLESH, the group featuring former VOIVOD/current E-FORCE bassist/vocalist Eric Forrest, has issued the following update:

"We've recently started a third album. Right now we have nine songs written, but two of those may be Frankensteined for the best parts and turned into one song. Very pleased with the new stuff thus far. They are in various early states of being tracked and there are always plenty of other song ideas waiting to be worked up. Also been tossing around the idea of covering another old favorite of ours — 'Irrelevant Thoughts' by PRONG. So if that turns out well it will probably be included. We’ve also made the decision to try to finally put together a live lineup to do a few future shows. Have run into a few early roadblocks while recruiting guys but that is something else we are putting together as time allows.

"The latest album, 'The Conjoined', has been out there for a few months now (via Burning Star) so check it out if you'd like. Have received pretty cool feedback on it so far.

"Other than that Kevin [Kevin 131; GARDEN OF SHADOWS, TWISTED TOWER DIRE, BRAVE, WHILE HEAVEN WEPT] has been keeping busy mixing the RAVEN and ADVERSARY albums. Plus will be running live sound on a couple upcoming RAVEN shows this weekend. Eric and E-FORCE should finally have their new album 'Modified Poison' released pretty soon too (via Thundering/Manitou)."
