PRIMUS And CLUTCH To Join Forces For 'An Evening With…' Tour This Summer

PRIMUS and CLUTCH will join forces for "An Evening With Primus And Clutch" tour this summer.

The 24-date trek will launch on July 17 in Charlotte, North Carolina and wrap on August 18 in Berkeley, California.

Both bands will play full sets during the tour, which will feature no support acts.

Pre-sales start tomorrow (Tuesday, March 21) at 12 p.m. ET, including VIP upgrade options. Remaining tickets for all dates will go on sale to the general public on Friday (March 24) at 10 a.m. local time.

"Touring with PRIMUS is something that CLUTCH has wanted to do for ages," CLUTCH frontman Neil Fallon said in a statement. "And we've heard from countless fans that have wanted to see that bill as well. Needless to say, we're thrilled to finally go out with PRIMUS this summer. Good times!"

PRIMUS is contuining to tour in support of 2014's "Primus And The Chocolate Factory", the first album in 19 years from the band's seminal lineup: bassist/vocalist Les Claypool, guitarist Larry LaLonde and drummer Tim "Herb" Alexander.

CLUTCH's latest album, "Psychic Warfare", debuted at No. 11 on The Billboard 200 chart after shifting 26,000 equivalent album units in the week ending October 8, 2015. The disc was released via CLUTCH's own label Weathermaker Music.
