PRIMAL FEAR: South American Tour Dates Announced

German power metallers PRIMAL FEAR have scheduled the following South American tour dates:

Feb. 22 - Lima, Peru - C.C. Scencia
Feb. 24 - La Paz, Bolivia - Teatro Modesta Sanginés
Feb. 25 - Buenos Aires, Agentina - El Teatro Flores
Feb. 26 - Rio De Janeiro, Brazil - Hard Rock Cafe
Feb. 27 - Sao Paulo, Brazil - Carioca Club

Guitarist Henny Wolter left PRIMAL FEAR in August because — in his words — "it just didn't feel like a band anymore." Henny, who is also no longer a member of SINNER (led by PRIMAL FEAR bassist Mat Sinner), is focusing on his new band NITROGODS, also featuring ex-PRIMAL FEAR drummer Klaus Sperling and vocalist Oimel Larcher. The group's self-titled debut album is expected in early 2011.

PRIMAL FEAR recently released a new live DVD, "16.6 - All Over The World" (recorded in various locations between September and November 2009), and a live CD, aptly titled "Live In The USA". Frontiers Records issued the two products separately and as a limited-edition combo on June 22 in the USA. The DVD is filled with an abundance of extra materials, such as an entire bootleg section with funny moments on the road, bootleg footage from various festival appearances and other concerts, all of PRIMAL FEAR's most recent promotional videos, plus the making-of footage for "16.6" and a brand new interview section about the past, present and future of PRIMAL FEAR.
