January 6, 2011

February 2011 will see NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal) legends PRAYING MANTIS release a special limited-edition EP to celebrate 30 years since the release of their critically acclaimed album "Time Tells No Lies". Entitled "Metalmorphosis", the effort will include five songs, some of which are from the original album re-recorded by the current MANTIS lineup.

The songs the band has chosen are as follows:

03. Lovers to the Grave
04. Panic in the Streets

All these tracks have been completely re-recorded.

"Metalmorphosis" will be sold via PRAYING MANTIS' web sites in February 2011 at £5.50 plus shipping/handling. The EP will also be available at the live shows throughout 2011.

"Sanctuary" was released in Europe in June 2009 via Frontiers Records (July 2009 in the U.S.). The CD was recorded in Atlanta, Georgia under the direction of producer/engineer Andy Reilly (ASIA, THE CULT, BRUCE DICKINSON, FM, etc).
