POWERMAN 5000: New Single Posted Online

March 4, 2003

POWERMAN 5000 have posted their new single, "Free", in Real Player and Windows Media streaming audio formats. Check it out:

Real Player: Hi-Speed, Lo-Speed
Windows Media: Hi-Speed, Lo-Speed

"Free" comes off the group's forthcoming "Transform" CD, slated for release on May 20 through Dreamworks Records. The single is expected to go for radio adds on March 25 with an accompanying video — directed by frontman Spider One — due around the same time. "Transform", which marks the recording debut with the group of new bassist Siggy Sjursen and drummer Adrian Ost, was produced by Joe Baressi (who engineered the group's platinum 1999 album, "Tonight the Stars Revolt!") and is said to feature a more melodic and experimental direction for the group than was the case on their previous efforts.
