Portugal's [BEFORE THE RAIN] Commence Work On Full-Length Debut

Portuguese doomsters [BEFORETHERAIN] have just entered the studio to begin recording their debut album, entitled "One Day Less", tentatively due in early 2006. The CD will contain "six slabs of melancholy and despair," according to the band.

In other news, [BEFORETHERAIN] are scheduled to play two gigs along with SWALLOW THE SUN and PROCESS OF GUILT in January 2006. The details are as follows:

Jan. 14 - Porto Rio - Porto, POR

[BEFORETHERAIN] had previously released a three-song mini-CD, entitled "...And with the Day Dying Light", in 2003. The group's current lineup is:

Carlos D'Água - Vocals
Valter Cunha - Guitars
Hugo Santos - Guitars
Pedro Daniel - Bass
Gonçalo Correia - Drums

A session guitarist, Nuno David, has also been recruited for the group's live appearances.
