PITCHSHIFTER's 'Underground Uprising' Festival Postponed

December 4, 2006

The previously announced Underground Uprising festival, which was set to be headlined by PITCHSHIFTER on Friday, December 15 at Astoria in London, England, has been postponed. PSI Records and Mean Fiddler are currently exploring options to reschedule the event in 2007.The following statement has been issued by PITCHSHIFTER:

"We would like to apologize to all of our fans and the fans of the support bands, for the postponement of the Underground Uprising show. Followers of the band will know that PITCHSHIFTER rarely cancels a gig (and is truly loathed to do so),but personal events outside of the band's control have made it impossible for PITCHSHIFTER to appear at this event.

"Out of respect for our bandmembers' privacy in our personal lives, and in no way as a sign of disrespect to our fan base, we are not at liberty to discuss the exact nature of this event at this time.

"We would like to thank you all for your patience and continuing support in this difficult time. We look forward to seeing you all out on the road again in happier times."

The Underground Uprising festival was also scheduled to include appearances by SIKTH, BREED 77, ARCHITECTS and GALLOWS.
