PINK To Cover GUNS N' ROSES Classic On Upcoming Tour
Rising pop star PINK will reportedly be covering the GUNS N' ROSES classic "Sweet Child O' Mine" on her upcoming tour, according to Rolling Stone magazine. PINK, whose latest release, Missundaztood, has been certifed double-platinum for sales in excess of two million copies in the US, is said to be a longtime GNR fan.
In related news, the current issue of Spin magazine reports that current GUNS N' ROSES guitarist "Buckethead insisted that a human-size chicken coup be constructed in the band's recording area. Apparently the chicken-man wanted to lay down his umpteenth Chinese Democracy guitar tracks from inside the wire pen."
Also on the GUNS N' ROSES front, a web site is selling a live recording of the group's December 2001 show in Las Vegas, entitled Viva Las Vegas, in CD format for $50 via this location. (source: The Lost Rose)
