PINK CREAM 69 Set Release Date For New Album

Germany's PINK CREAM 69 have completed work on the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2001's "Endangered", due on January 26 through SPV Records.

The album was recorded and mixed at House Of Audio studio in Karlsdorf, Germany and was produced by PINK CREAM 69 bassist Dennis Ward.

According to the band's official web site, the upcoming CD will "connect the strongest elements of the albums 'Electrified' [1998] and 'Sonic Dynamite' [2000]."

As previously reported, PINK CREAM 69 recently recruited Uwe Reitenauer as the live session guitarist while regular axeman Alfred Koffler is receiving treatment for a disease in his left hand by the name of focal dystonia. "It is [an incurable] disease [that] causes cramps in the hand and makes the motions complicated, partly even impossible," the band said in a statement. "Although no specific improvement is [expected], Alfred [has] not given up hope and has appropriated a new game technology conformed to his situation."
