PILGRIMZ To Support GOJIRA In U.K., Ireland

January 30, 2009

Copenhagen, Denmark-based metal/hardcore act PILGRIMZ has been confirmed as the support band for French progressive metallers GOJIRA on their upcoming tour of the U.K. and Ireland.

Comment PILGRIMZ vocalist Max Vegas: "No need to say that the expression of GOJIRA is unique and that the band is one of Europe's leading metal bands. However, I think their fans will like us a lot. Even though our metal is more rock 'n' roll-inspired, it's still our own dirty unique expression and we can't wait to destroy the U.K.!"

The dates are as follows:

Mar. 10 - UK Leeds Cockpit
Mar. 11 - UK Birmingham Barfly
Mar. 12 - UK Glasgow Classic Grand
Mar. 13 - UK Sheffield Corporation
Mar. 14 - IE Dublin Whelans
Mar. 15 - IE Belfast Limelight
Mar. 17 - UK Stoke Sugarmill
Mar. 18 - UK Norwich Waterfront
Mar. 19 - UK Portsmouth Wedgewood Arms
Mar. 20 - UK Oxford Academy 2
Mar. 21 - UK Bristol Academy
Mar. 22 - UK London Underworld

"Shake-A-Feather", the latest video from PILGRIMZ, can be viewed below. The song comes off the group's debut album, "Boar Riders", which was released in Europe in June 2008 via I Scream Records. The CD was recorded with producer Jacob Hansen (HATESPHERE, MNEMIC, ILLDISPOSED, INVOCATOR, RAUNCHY, MAROON) at Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark and was mixed by Tue Madsen at his Antfarm studios (THE HAUNTED, SICK OF IT ALL, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, CATARACT). Artwork duties were handled by R. Black (MISFITS, BJÖRK).
