PHILIP ANSELMO's ARSON ANTHEM To Make Official Live Debut In December

November 14, 2007

Texas thrash metal pioneers RIGOR MORTIS will team up with ARSON ANTHEM — the new band featuring Philip Anselmo (DOWN, ex-PANTERA) on guitar, Mike Williams (EYEHATEGOD) on vocals, Hank Williams III (SUPERJOINT RITUAL) on drums and Collin Yeo on bass — for three shows in December.

RIGOR MORTIS will perform with its original lineup consisting of Bruce Corbitt (TEXAS METAL ALLIANCE),Mike Scaccia (MINISTRY, REVOLTING COCKS),Casey Orr (MITRA, GWAR, X-COPS, THE HELLIONS, THE BURDEN BROTHERS),and Harden Harrison (MITRA, PERVIS, SPEEDEALER).

These three dates mark ARSON ANTHEM's first official performances ever, and due to the hectic touring schedules of the members involved, might turn out to be the group's only appearances for awhile.

The details are as follows;

Dec. 13 - Exit/In - Nashville, TN
Dec. 14 - Vino's - Little Rock, AR
Dec. 15 - One Eyed Jacks - New Orleans, LA

Also appearing on the bill for all three shows are EVIL ARMY and IF HE DIES, HE DIES.

ARSON ANTHEM is tentatively scheduled to release its debut CD in February 2008 via Housecore Records. More information will be made available soon.

Fan-filmed video footage of ARSON ANTHEM's September 13, 2006 concert at the Howling Wolf in New Orleans, Lousiana can be viewed below. The unannounced appearance took place during Hank Williams III's solo headlining concert at the venue.
