Phil Varone's (SAIGON KICK, SKID ROW) next "Sex, Stand Up, And Rock & Roll Show" — which will be held at the Hollywood Improv on Tuesday, January 19 — will feature an appearance by the house band JUST THE TIP, consisting of drummer Athena (KOTTAK, GODMOTHER, HARDLY DANGEROUS),bassist Beth Ami (GODMOTHER, HARDLY DANGEROUS),and guitarist Angela Grant (BLONDE JOVI).

"I've managed to enlist some incredible musical talent for this next show", exclaims Phil Varone. "The audience on January 19 is in for a real treat!

"It's a bonus that they're all beautiful women", continues Phil, "but make no mistake about it; these women can ROCK!"

Varone's "Sex, Stand Up, And Rock & Roll Show" is unique as it offers a combination of music, sex and edge-of-your-seat comedy all in one show.

The comedians performing on January 19 will be: Iliza Shlesinger, the first female and also the youngest winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing" in the series' sixth season; Adam Hunter, finalist on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" sixth season; and Dante, finalist on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" fifth season. Additionally, Kirk Zipfel will delight the crowd with his musical comedy and Dilana, second-place finalist on CBS's "Rock Star Supernova" second season will be rocking the house as Phil's musical guest. "I'll be backing Dilana on drums during her set," states Varone.

Phil Varone is an accomplished drummer, music producer and songwriter best known for his work with the rock bands SAIGON KICK and SKID ROW. After leaving the music business in 2004, Phil pursued his passion for comedy and performing by creating and hosting the now wildly popular "Sex, Stand Up, and Rock & Roll Show".

The show opens with an amazing musical guest followed by A-list comedians and performers. In between the comedians, Phil brings adult stars up to the stage, he plays adult games with the crowd and he raffles off legendary gift bags full of merchandise provided by various sponsors.

"Come down and be part of the show!" Phil enthusiastically encourages. "The audience is part of the show and everyone has a chance to win one of our infamous gift bags. I guarantee you'll go home with a smile on your face and some naughty ideas in your head!"

Phil Varone's "Sex, Stand Up, and Rock & Roll Show" starts at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at the Hollywood Improv, 8162 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046, (323) 651-2583, www.improv.com. 18-and-over, $15.00 admission. Come early for dinner and get preferred seating.
