PETER CRISS: I Had Nothing To Do With Any KISS Books GENE And PAUL Put Out

Original KISS drummer Peter Criss has issued a statement denying that he had anything to do with any of the official KISS books that have been released over the years. "I had nothing to do with 'KISStory' except for my signature on the signature page," he said in the statement. "The contents were from past interviews which are mere press quotes and not all of them are true. I had nothing to do with 'KISS and Make-up' and I definitely had nothing to do with 'Behind the Mask' or any other book Gene and Paul put out. The only thing I will authorize is Ace, Gene, Paul, Peter formed KISS. Due to the fact I was under contract during the releases of these books, I wasn't able to discuss this matter at that time. The truth is important for my reputation."
