PAUL SHORTINO, RON KEEL, KELLY GARNI Jam With SIN CITY SINNERS In Vegas

February 7, 2008

Every Tuesday Brent Muscat's (ex-FASTER PUSSYCAT) SIN CITY SINNERS bring a special guest to Las Vegas' Dive Bar. Paul Shortino (ROUGH CUTT, QUIET RIOT) was the SIN CITY SINNERS' advertised guest this past Tuesday night (February 5),but he didn’t show up alone… Paul invited Ron Keel and QUIET RIOT bassist Kelly Garni to join the band for "Metal Health (Bang Your Head)". It was the first time Garni has played on stage in 20 years. He is best known for playing with Randy Rhoads and Kevin DuBrow in QUIET RIOT and playing on the two Japanese releases "Quiet Riot" (1977) and "Quiet Riot II" (1978). They dedicated the song to DuBrow and assured the crowd he was in rock 'n' roll heaven.

Those lucky enough to be there saw Paul not only perform covers, but ROUGH CUTT and QUIET RIOT songs, including "Stay with me Tonight" from the 1988 record "Quiet Riot". Ron Keel also stuck around to rock the house and sing "Sin City" during the two-hour-plus set.

SIN CITY SINNERS play every Tuesday night and the QUIET RIOT tribute continues when the SIN CITY SINNERS welcome drummer Frankie Banali on February 26.

SIN CITY SINNERS is:

Brent Muscat (ex-FASTER PUSSYCAT)
Todd Kerns (AGE OF ELECTRIC)
D. (MARKY RAMONE BAND)
Rob Cournoyer (RAGING SLAB)
