PAUL BOSTAPH: 'I'm Stoked To Hit The Road With The TESTAMENT Guys'

July 7, 2006

EXODUS drummer Paul Bostaph (ex-SLAYER, FORBIDDEN, SYSTEMATIC) has commented on his upcoming stint as the touring drummer for TESTAMENT.

As previously reported, TESTAMENT drummer Louie Clemente will be unable to perform with the band on the upcoming shows scheduled in the United States, Europe, and South Korea due to "medical reasons."

Bostaph, who was a member of TESTAMENT for a brief period starting around February 2004, had previously played several live dates with the group in 1992 and appeared on the band's 1993 live EP, "Return To The Apocalyptic City".

Commented Paul: "There will be plenty of time to rest when I'm dead! I'm stoked to hit the road with the TESTAMENT guys, especially since I've never played with Alex Skolnick before. It's as close to the original line-up as possible and I've always had fun with them. This time should be no different. I'm honored they gave me a call. I had some free time while EXODUS is gearing up for another assault, so the timing worked out well. I wish Louie Clemente the best and hope he's back in the saddle soon. See you on the road!"

Bostaph will be filling in for Louie on the following dates in July and August:

Jul. 12 - Key Club - Hollywood, CA
Jul. 13 - Galaxy Theatre - Santa Ana, CA
Jul. 14 - Nevada Empire Ballroom - Las Vegas, NV
Jul. 15 - Venue of Scottsdale - Scottsdale, AZ
