PAPA ROACH To Embark On Headlining Tour In The Fall

March 15, 2009

PAPA ROACH frontman Jacoby Shaddix has told Billboard.com that the band will embark on a headlining tour this fall to further promote its new album, "Metamorphosis".

"(NICKELBACK) is the last tour we're going to go out and support," Shaddix said. "That's just another part of the puzzle to get us to the headlining slot in the fall."

Regarding what PAPA ROACH fans can expect on the upcoming headlining tour, Shaddix said, "We want to have a production. We've never had that before. We have the kind of live show that doesn't need fire and explosions — but if we add that to the show, it's gonna be f'ing mayhem. I can't wait."

"Metamorphosis" was written at the legendary Paramour Mansion and recorded at NRG Recording Studios. The album was co-produced by Jay Baumgardener (311, EVANESCENCE, INCUBUS) and PAPA ROACH. James Michael (MÖTLEY CRÜE, SIXX: A.M.) also co-produced five tracks.

PAPA ROACH will guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn on Monday, March 23 at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET. Fans are encouraged to speak with PAPA ROACH by calling 1-800-344-ROCK (7625).
