PAIN CONFESSOR Sign With MEGAMANIA

November 6, 2003

PAIN CONFESSOR, a melodic metal band from Finland, have signed a three-record deal with the Finnish label Megamania. The co-operation begins with the release of an EP during the first quarter of 2004. Following will be the full-length debut, which is planned for release during the Fall of 2004.

PAIN CONFESSOR play "melodic metal with clean and death metal vocals mixing various metal sub-genre influences into their unique style," according to an official press release. "Lots of guitar and vocal harmonies intertwine with atmospheric keyboards and tight rhythms. This is thrashy metal but there are no limits to the band's musical expression and imagination. Members are by no means newbies in the metal scene, line-up featuring members all the way from old school thrashers A.R.G. and long-[running] aggrometallers JANE DOE 69 and NONSLIPLEVEL."

Megamania has previously released albums from such Finnish acts as STONE, A.R.G., KOTITEOLLISUUS, HANOI ROCKS, LENINGRAD COWBOYS and PEER GÜNT. PAIN CONFESSOR is the label's first and only metal act signing in a decade.
