Having already announced that he will headline Ozzfest's down-and-dirty second stage at six shows this summer, OZZY OSBOURNE will now perform on the second stage (instead of the main stage) this Saturday, July 1, in San Francisco at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. This will now mark Ozzy's first-ever second stage performance at Ozzfest.

OZZY OSBOURNE will now headline the Monster Energy second stage on a total of seven Ozzfest 2006 dates:

Jul. 01 – San Francisco, CA @ Shoreline Amphitheatre
Jul. 04 - Albuquerque, NM @ Journal Pavilion
Jul. 08 - San Bernardino, CA @ Hyundai Pavilion of Glen Helen
Jul. 11 - San Antonio, TX @ Verizon Wireless Amphitheater
Jul. 18 - Pittsburgh, PA @ Post Gazette Pavilion
Jul. 22 - East Troy, WI @ Alpine Valley Music Theatre
Jul. 27 - Buffalo, NY @ Darien Lake Performing Arts Center

Ozzy recently announced his only headlining solo concert of 2006, and it's set for July 14 at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Kansas City, KS with BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and two Ozzfest supporting acts soon to be named (rumored to be ATREYU and UNEARTH).

Ozzy has been writing songs for an upcoming solo album with his longtime guitarist Zakk Wylde, who also fronts BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. The album's release date has not yet been announced.
