OZZY OSBOURNE, LARS ULRICH, EVAN SEINFELD Contribute To Educational Video

Ozzy Osbourne, Lars Ulrich of METALLICA, Evan Seinfeld of BIOHAZARD, and Brad Delson from LINKIN PARK are among the artists conveying their experience and advice on hearing conservation in a 15-minute educational film entitled "Listen Smart - Safely Handling The Power of Sound". The film, which was designed to create awareness about noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL),and to encourage safer practices in consuming high decibel sound, is being distributed by Human Relations Media, to school districts throughout the U.S. and Canada, and other English-speaking countries around the world.

The Better Hearing Institute estimates that approximately 28 million people, or one out of ten people suffer from hearing loss in the U.S. According to an article in Prevention magazine in 2000, many more are dealing with tinnitus, and that "an estimated 50 million Americans, 1 out of 5, experience this constant ringing in the ears..."

A screening event for the film will be announced in the near future.
