OZZY OSBOURNE And Son Visit Colonial Williamsburg For HISTORY Channel Show

March 23, 2016

According to Richmond.com, Ozzy Osbourne and his son Jack Osbourne traveled to Colonial Williamsburg — a living-history museum and private foundation presenting part of a historic district in the city of Williamsburg, Virginia — this past weekend, reportedly to film a new show produced by the History channel. They visited the colonial area's new musket range and touring Historic Jamestowne.

"We were indeed thrilled to have Ozzy and Jack Osbourne visit the Revolutionary City on Friday," said Colonial Williamsburg spokesman Joe Straw. "Their visit underscores Colonial Williamsburg's undiminished relevance and the broad appeal of our new and more engaging programming."

Colonial Williamsburg posted on its Facebook page that Ozzy and Jack "tried out our new educational musket range (Ozzy was right on target with his shots),and toured the trade shops along Duke of Gloucester Street. Rumor has it they had a particularly good time in the Wig Shop."

Ozzy in November returned to San Antonio, Texas as part of the History channel program — to apologize for urinating on the Alamo Cenotaph in 1982. He was also spotted around Roswell, New Mexico, where he and Jack visited the International UFO Museum, and they traveled to Cuba, where they spent almost a week.

Ozzy admitted to The Pulse Of Radio that doing the History channel show will help him fill in some blanks in his own knowledge of history: "Anything past World War II, I'm clueless," he said. "I'm kind of up on World War II 'cause I was born a couple of years after. So I know quite a lot about World War II and Hitler and the Nazis and all that. But anything from before or after I don't know anything about. So we're going to Mount Rushmore, we're going to the abandoned silos where you guys, America used to have their Minutemen missiles and all that. It's quite educational for me, actually."

The Osbournes' new show finds the father-son duo visiting famous places and offering what Ozzy described as "history with an Osbourne twang."

On the music front, Ozzy has just completed the first North American leg of BLACK SABBATH's farewell tour, dubbed >"The End".

We can finally announce our special visitors we hosted over the weekend...Ozzy Osbourne & Jack Osbourne! They tried out...
