June 29, 2006

Ozzfest 2006 has begun and the first photos from the event have been posted for all to see. The band ALL THAT REMAINS played, and photos from their set (finished just minutes ago) can be seen at RockMyMonkey.com.

RockMyMonkey.com will be posting updates live from the Ozzfest launch in Auburn, Washington about every hour for most of the day.

To watch for photo updates, keep checking this page.

For the first time in Ozzfest's history, neither OZZY OSBOURNE nor BLACK SABBATH is headlining the main stage for the entire duration. OSBOURNE is sharing those duties this year with SYSTEM OF A DOWN and DISTURBED. Also appearing on the Ozzfest 2006 main stage are AVENGED SEVENFOLD, HATEBREED, LACUNA COIL and DRAGONFORCE, while the second stage will feature BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, ATREYU, UNEARTH, BLEEDING THROUGH, NORMA JEAN and several others.

The 26-date Ozzfest is scheduled to continue through August 13 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
