OVIF: Five Songs Ready For Next Album

Montreal, Quebec, Canada-based thrash metal band OVIF, which features former members of MELODYACT, has composed five songs for its sophomore album. The group states, "We're very happy about the results so far considering we only started writing the new material last August. We can wait to release it in the wild for everybody in summer 2011! Thrash galore it will be yet again!!"

OVIF's debut album, "Devast", was recorded with veteran producer Glen Robinson (VOIVOD, GWAR, ANNIHILATOR) and contains 13 songs, five of which are sung in French.

The band's official lineup consists of only two members — Erick Paquin (guitar, drums) and Jessy Bilodeau (bass, vocals) — with session musician Olivier Beaudoin on drums.
