As previously reported, drummer Tim Mallare recently left OVERKILL, according to a posting on the group's web site. Mallare is said to have exited the group of "his own accord. His contribution over the last 14 years have been at the highest level. He will be missed!"

Joining OVERKILL as the permanent replacement for Mallare is Ron Lipnicki, formerly of HADES. "From what I have been reading and what has been said to me, seems like Ron is more than capable of filling that position," OVERKILL's webmaster writes on the group's web site.

Tim Mallare originally came into the group prior to the recording of 1993's "I Hear Black".

OVERKILL are continuing to tour in support of their "ReliXIV" album, available now on Eagle Rock/Spitfire Records.
