OVERKILL And EXODUS To Team Up For Japan's 'Thrash Domination 2010'

OVERKILL and EXODUS will team up for the "Thrash Domination 2010" mini-tour of Japan in September. Support at all shows will come from veteran Japanese metallers OUTRAGE.

The dates are as follows:

Sep. 17 - Osaka, Japan - Shangri-la
Sep. 18 - Kawasaki, Japan - Club Citta
Sep. 19 - Kawasaki, Japan - Club Citta

OVERKILL's new album, "Ironbound", sold 4,100 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 192 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD landed at No. 4 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Ironbound" was released on February 9 via E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records). The CD, which was issued in Europe on January 29 via Nuclear Blast Records, was mixed by PAIN/HYPOCRISY mainman Peter TÃĪgtgren and is described in a press release as "a true thrasher-piece."

OVERKILL filmed a video for the song "Bring Me The Night" on January 9 in Brooklyn, New York with director Kevin Custer (HATEBREED, TESTAMENT, SUFFOCATION).

"Exhibit B: The Human Condition", the new album from EXODUS, sold around 4,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 114 on The Billboard 200 chart.

EXODUS' previous CD, "The Atrocity Exhibition: Exhibit A", opened with 3,600 units back in October 2007.

"Exhibit B: The Human Condition" registered the following first-week chart positions:

#32: Germany
#49: Austria
#53: Switzerland
#22: Netherlands (Top 30 Alternative)
#35: U.K. Top 50 (Indie chart)
#23: U.K. Top 40 (Rock chart)
#114: U.S.

"Exhibit B: The Human Condition" was released in North America on May 18 via Nuclear Blast Records.

EXODUS will embark on the "March Of Brutality" tour in August with support from MALEVOLENT CREATION, HOLY GRAIL and BONDED BY BLOOD.

EXODUS filmed two videos on April 1 in Los Angeles with director Jon Schnepp ("Metalocalypse", the animated program about DETHKLOK, the world's most popular death metal band, on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim) on the old set of the television sitcom "Night Court".

"Exhibit B: The Human Condition" was recorded this past December in Northern California with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, ARCH ENEMY, KREATOR).
