OUTWORLD: Previously Unreleased 2008 EP Now Available

April 5, 2011

A four-song 2008 EP from the the now-defunct Texas-based band OUTWORLD, featuring Brazilian singer Carlos Zema and renowned guitarist Rusty Cooley, has been released via Amazon.com.

After OUTWORLD disbanded, the tracks on the EP were intended to be used by Cooley in his new band, DAY OF RECKONING, but he ultimately decided against it as he's leaning on his more up-to-date writing styles to carry the group.

OUTWORLD's debut album came out on Replica Records in 2006. The band went on to win Famecast's "Metal" category in 2007 and made several appearances at summer NAMM in Austin, Texas before calling it quits.
