OUTRAGE Signs With MAINTAIN RECORDS

October 1, 2009

Austrian death metal maniacs OUTRAGE have inked a deal with Maintain Records. The band's new album, "Contaminated" was recorded in October 2008 at Kohlekeller Studios near Darmstadt, Germany and is expected to be released "very soon."

According to the group's official bio, OUTRAGE is "one of the first Austrian bands who mix old-school death metal with rock influences. . . The neck-breaking music they create is as precious as the blood that flows through their veins.

"Over the years, [OUTRAGE's] sound has progressed to the brutal but groovy combination of murdering guitar riffs and the feeling of aggressive marching beats which creates their own style without following the mainstream. The band knows that lyrics about anger, frustration, suicide, war and politics harmonize perfect to this brutal style of music."
