Original ANTHRAX Singer NEIL TURBIN To Guest On JACK FROST Solo Album

April 28, 2005

Original ANTHRAX singer Neil Turbin has posted the following message on his official web site:

"[I] was in cutting vocals at Mark Boals' Skunk Studios on a ripping track called 'Crucifixation' for Jack Frost's (SEVEN WITCHES) solo album, titled 'Out In The Cold'. Jack is one of the coolest metal dudes in the business and my East Coast metal brother. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to sing on your material which kicks so much ass! It was so great working with Mark Boals, since we are both perfectionists. Mark is without a doubt one of the most incredible vocalists in the world and is both very down to earth and a humble person. I also need to say thanks to my metal brother Dave Garcia from CAGE who helped me cut and mix all the pre-production vocals in his studio down in San Diego."

As previously reported, Turbin and his recently unveiled solo band, DEATHRIDERS, have been confirmed for the Metal Sludge Extravaganza XI, set to be held April 28-30, 2005 at Paladinos Lounge in Tarzana, California.

Neil Turbin's DEATHRIDERS will play on Saturday, April 30 at 9:00 p.m. for a blistering set of classic ANTHRAX speed-metal tunes, power-metal tunes from his debut solo CD, "ThreatCon Delta", and a couple of new songs that will be showcased from his upcoming sophomore CD, "Diary of a Metal Thrashing Madman", to be released in 2006.

DEATHRIDERS features lead guitarist Kurt James (formerly of DR. MASTERMIND, STEELER and DRIVER),lead guitarist Beau Simpson (formerly of FAIL FOR FUN),and the thunderous rhythm section of bassist Mike Giordano and drummer Mikey Neil, currently with the San Diego, California-based power metal band CAGE.

Neil Turbin's DEATHRIDERS will be playing at the official 2005 Monterrey Metal Fest pre-party to be held on Friday, May 27, 2005 at Cafe Iguanas, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico alongside AZRAELS BANE, CRISTAL Y ACERO, ANTON, DAGGER and other musical surprises. This will be followed by their performance as co-headliners on the second stage of the Monterrey Metal Fest on Saturday, May 28, 2005 alongside JAG PANZER, SHADOWKEEP, AZRAELS BANE, LUPARA and IGNITOR.
