April 18, 2007

Kansas-based death metallers ORIGIN have cancelled their previously announced appearance at this year's Maryland Deathfest, set to take place May 26-27 at the Sonar in Baltimore, MD. According to festival organizers, "[ORIGIN has] been confirmed for 5-6 months, but sent their agent an e-mail that says 'After our last tour, we have to cancel MDF because we can't take more time off work.'"

Replacing ORIGIN on the Maryland Deathfest billing will be MISERY INDEX. Other acts scheduled to appear include BRUTAL TRUTH, ZYKLON, EXTREME NOISE TERROR, MALEVOLENT CREATION, VOMITORY, DEAD INFECTION, GHOUL, GUT, REGURGITATE, GOREROTTED, BIRDFLESH, GOROD, ODIOUS MORTEM, ROTTEN SOUND, RETALIATION, and SKITSYSTEM.
