ORCHID'S CURSE Announces New Guitarist

January 31, 2008

Diminished Fifth Records has announced that Keith McLeod (ex-SHE KILLS) will be stepping in as the second guitarist in Dartmouth Nova Scotia, Canada's ORCHID'S CURSE.

The band began as a five-piece and released its debut EP, "Goodbye is when the Casket Closes…" in September 2006. However since the release, guitarist Paul Slaunwhite has had to step down due to nerve damage in his hand and wrist. The group has continued onward as a four-piece for over a year but has finally found a more than adequate replacement in Keith.

ORCHID'S CURSE will perform with their new lineup on the "Heavy Music Spotlight" at the East Coast Music Awards this February and will share the stage with their new labelmates IRON GIANT.

In other news, ORCHID'S CURSE has completed recording a demo of all-new material, including the songs "The Delicate Art of Dying", "…of the Flesh" and "Let the Ashes Bury this Life", which is currently being mixed.

ORCHID'S CURSE is:

Brian Jones (Guitar)
Keith McLeod (Guitar)
Josh Hogan (Vocals)
Tim Ringer (Bass)
Bobby Webb (Drums)
