OPETH To Guest On Norwegian Radio

November 10, 2005

On Tuesday, November 15, OPETH will be guests on Norwegian National Radio P3. The program is called "Pyro", and two of the band's members will play their favorite songs from the history of rock.

"Pyro" airs between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. CET. OPETH will be guests in the last hour, and the show can be heard over the web from www.nrk.no/pyro (click on "Nettradio", and you're there). The show can also be heard on the same web page after it has aired. Just click on the date and time of the show.

OPETH are currently touring in support of their new album, "Ghost Reveries", available now on Roadrunner Records.

OPETH utilized the services of STRAPPING YOUNG LAD drummer Gene Hoglan during the bulk of this summer's Sounds of the Underground tour after the group's regular skinsman, Martin Lopez, went back to Sweden for treatment of a rare blood disorder he's had for most of his life. The band have since enlisted Martin Axenrot (BLOODBATH, WITCHERY, NIFELHEIM) to take over Lopez' duties until he's fully recovered.
