OOMPH!: New Video Featuring APOCALYPTICA Posted Online

July 3, 2006

OOMPH!'s video for their new single, "Die Schlinge" (The Noose) — featuring a guest appearance by the Finnish cello rockers APOCALYPTICA — has been posted online at this location (Real Media). The clip was directed by Ken Duken, who had previously worked with OOMPH! on their video for "Das Letzte Streichholz". The location for the video shoot was "Wild West City" (www.wildwest.cz) in the Czech Republic.

"Die Schlinge" is the third single from OOMPH!'s latest album, "GlaubeLiebeTod" (Belief, Love, Death),which is available on G.U.N. Records. The song is said to be based on the harmonica melody of Ennio Morricone's film music to "Once Upon a Time in the West". The signature harmonica line is not sampled, but was re-recorded anew with permission by the composer and was then combined with OOMPH!'s own songwriting contributions.

All of OOMPH!'s promotional videos are are available for viewing at the band's official web site at this location.

OOMPH! have just completed a tour of their homecountry (Germany),and are currently preparing to play shows in several other European countries. The group's schedule is shaping up as follows:
