ONSLAUGHT Issues Statement Regarding 'Postponed' European Tour

March 29, 2008

Reactivated British thrashers ONSLAUGHT have issued the following statement regarding the "postponement" of their "Horns Up" European tour with Sweden's CARNAL FORGE and Greece's SUICIDAL ANGELS (as BLABBERMOUTH.NET first reported yesterday):

"Unfortunately due to poor management and organization from the persons involved in the booking of the 'Horns Up' tour, we have decided to postpone the majority of the dates for a few weeks.

"The entire logistic plan was a total mess. This included no flights being booked only two days before the tour was due to start. ONSLAUGHT also did not receive any guarantees that some of the shows would happen and unfortunately had no confidence that this tour, as it stood, would have seen it through to the end.

"The new rescheduled dates will be booked by Metal Masters Romania, and the new tour announced very shortly with hopefully no delay longer than 3 to 4 weeks of the original shows."

The trek was scheduled to kick off on March 31 in Romania.

ONSLAUGHT recently confirmed the departure of guitarist Alan Jordan. A replacement axeman has already been recruited in the shape of "awesome new shredder" Andy Rosser-Davies.

ONSLAUGHT's new album, "Killing Peace", was released in March 2007 via Candlelight Records. The CD was recorded at Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England with producer Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, MACHINE HEAD, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE).

Metal Mind Productions released ONSLAUGHT's "Live Polish Assault" DVD in a special DVD+CD limited swing case edition on March 3 in Europe (May 13 in the U.S. via MVD).
