OMNIUM GATHERUM: First Album, Mini-CD To Be Reissued

Finnish melo-death metallers OMNIUM GATHERUM will have their "Spirits and August Light" album and "Steal the Light" mini-CD reissued on one CD with "reconstructed" artwork and a new layout on November 9 via Nuclear Blast Records. On the same day, Nuclear Blast will release the band's sophomore album, "Years In Waste".

The follow-up to "Spirits and August Light", "Years In Waste" was recorded at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki, Finland with producer Nino Laurenne and engineer Teemu Aalto. The mastering sessions took place at Finnvox studios in Helsinki. A video for the track "The Fall Went Right Through Here" was recently shot with directors Lowlifemedia Productions (PRIMAL FEAR, EXODUS, ABORTED, IMMOLATION, OCCULT).

OMNIUM GATHERUM, who were previously signed to the Rage of Achilles label, have described the new material as "more of that old-school (melo)death — groovier and heavier — not that trendy-pop-death-metal-crap that's extruding everywhere."
