OLIVER/DAWSON SAXON Postpone Tour

June 8, 2003

OLIVER/DAWSON SAXON, featuring the original founding songwriters of SAXON, guitarist Graham Oliver and bassist Steve Dawson, alongside ex-SAXON drummer Nigel Durham, guitarist Haydn Conway, and vocalist Wardi, have been forced to postpone their previously announced "Second Wave" tour due to the delays in the recording of the album of the same name. The tour, which was also set to feature TYGERS OF PAN TANG, GIRLSCHOOL and MILLION, will now take place in September.

OLIVER/DAWSON SAXON, TYGERS OF PAN TANG, and GIRLSCHOOL are all contributing songs to the upcoming "Second Wave" album, which is being released through Communiqué Records to celebrate the 25-year-anniversary of NWOBHM (New Wave Of British Heavy Metal). OLIVER/DAWSON SAXON's contributions will consist of all-new cuts, including "Worlds Gone Crazy", "Nursery Crimes", "Broken", "Ghost" and "Raeder Aus Stahl".
