OCTAVIA SPERATI, AUDREY HORNE To Play Benefit Gig For Cancer Victims

Norwegian bands OCTAVIA SPERATI and AUDREY HORNE (featuring members of ENSLAVED, GORGOROTH, DERIDE and SYLVIA WANE) are among the acts that will be performing benefit concerts at the Mood and Kamelon venues in Bergen, Norway on Thursday, October 27, with all proceeds going to "young people who live with cancer close in their family," according to a posting on OCTAVIA SPERATI's web site. OCTAVIA SPERATI are scheduled to hit the stage at 1:00 a.m. at Kamelon. Other bands slated to appear include BRIMSTONE, FENRIK LANE, TURBOSTIPEND, EMMERHOFF AND THE MELANCHOLY BABIES, and PV STAFF VS KARIN PARK.

OCTAVIA SPERATI's debut album, "Winter Enclosure", was released in the U.S. in June via Candlelight Records. Recorded in their hometown of Bergen, Norway, the album was produced by Herbrand Larsen and Arve Isdal, both members of labelmates ENSLAVED.

Formed in 2000, OCTAVIA SPERATI is singer Silje Wergeland, bassist Trine C. Johansen, drummer Hege S. Larsen, guitarists Gyri S. Losnegaard and Bodil Myklebust, and keyboardist Tone Midtgaard. Having already graced the stages at numerous European festivals, the band enjoy extensive support throughout their native country.
