OBSIDIAN Begins Recording New Album; Studio Diary, Video Footage Available

Dutch death/thrash metal act OBSIDIAN has entered Excess studios in Rotterdam in August to begin recording the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2007's "Emerging". The CD will feature nine brand new tracks and will be released in late 2008/early 2009 via Rusty Cage Records.

The band has launched a studio diary at this location. The group's first video blog can be viewed below.

OBSIDIAN's debut album, "Emerging", was reissued last year via Rusty Cage Records.

Formed in 1998, OBSIDIAN's current lineup is as follows:
