OBITUARY: 'Xecutioner's Return' Audio Sample Available

August 15, 2007

A 30-second audio sample of OBITUARY's upcoming album, "Xecutioner's Return", is available for download at Plastichead.com. Due in North America on August 28, the CD was mixed at Redroom Recorders and was mastered in June at Morrisound Studios in Tampa. The cover artwork can be viewed at this location. The band once again worked with artist Andreas Marschall, who has previously created the art for "The End Complete" and the group's most recent record, "Frozen in Time".

OBITUARY will team up with long-running German thrashers HOLY MOSES for a European tour in January 2008. Also appearing on the bill are Swedish metallers AVATAR.

Fan-filmed video footage of OBITUARY performing the song "Find the Arise" on July 5, 2007 at the Underworld in London, England can be viewed below.
