NORTHERN KINGS — the Finnish band consisting of four well-known metal musicians (Jarkko Ahola [TERÄSBETONI], Marco Hietala [TAROT, NIGHTWISH], Tony Kakko [SONATA ARCTICA], Juha-Pekka Leppäluoto [CHARON]) — played its first-ever full-length show last night (Wednesday, August 18) at the Tavastia club in Helsinki, Finland.

NORTHERN KINGS' backing musicians at the Tavastia gig were as follows:

Erkka Korhonen (ARI KOIVUNEN) - Guitars
Erkki Silvennoinen (ARI KOIVUNEN) - Bass
Vili Ollila (ARI KOIVUNEN) - Keyboards
Kai Hahto (WINTERSUN) - Drums

Fan-filmed video footage of the concert can be viewed below.

"Rethroned", the second album from NORTHERN KINGS, was released in Japan in February 2009 via Warner Music Japan. The Japanese version of the CD included a bonus track — a cover of MICHAEL JACKSON's "They Don't Care About Us".

NORTHERN KINGS' debut album, "Reborn", was certified gold in Finland for sales in excess of 15,000 copies.
