NON-HUMAN LEVEL: DARKANE Guitarist's Solo Project To Begin Recording This Summer

March 16, 2004

THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND/GOD AWAKENS PETRIFIED drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen has posted the following update about NON-HUMAN LEVEL, the upcoming solo project of DARKANE guitarist Christofer Malmström:

"I recently passed emails back and forth with Christofer about NON-HUMAN LEVEL. We are setting up to do drum tracks sometime this summer. Jay Van Poederooyen will be engineering the drum sound for the record.

"The recording of DARKANE's new album has been put on hold due to a wrist injury that Peter Wildoer (DARKANE's awesome drummer & NON-HUMAN LEVEL vocalist) has had for the last while. This has given Christofer more time to complete the songwriting for the NON-HUMAN LEVEL record. I will soon have the entire album in my hands, so I can learn and finish writing my drum parts for a summer time recording date.

"Everyone is pumped up to get this recording underway, I recently spoke to Gustaf Hielm (ex-MESHUGGAH, NON-HUMAN LEVEL bass player) and he is very excited about the project and can't wait to record it himself. Anyone looking for a pro bass player, get Gustaf, he is an awesome bass player and available now! More news on NON-HUMAN LEVEL as it comes..."
