NINE INCH NAILS: 'String Tribute to Pretty Hate Machine' Due This Month

April 12, 2005

Vitamin Records has set an April 19 release date for the NINE INCH NAILS tribute CD entitled "String Tribute to Nine Inch Nails' Pretty Hate Machine". A description of the release follows:

"'The String Quartet Tribute to Nine Inch Nails' Pretty Hate Machine' lets us look at NIN's multilayered, complex music in a new and gentler light. Reznor's skills as a songwriter and his ear for melody are often drowned out by the studio wizardry and powerhouse beats for which his music is renowned. Stripped to its barest form, the music played on violins, viola & cello, takes on a stark and eerie feel — true goosebump music. The true test of any great song is its ability to move the listener in its most basic form and NIN's music passes that test as this CD more than proves."
