NIKKI SIXX: Everything Is Right On Target

July 21, 2003

MÖTLEY CRÜE/BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message to the "Rock'n'Roll Diary" section of CRÜE's official web site:

"I walk into the kitchen and XM Radio is playing (the 70's) station, I venture down the hall to Gunner's room only to hear metal blasting (I swear his speakers gotta be about to blow)...up the hall and around the corner into the office me and my best friend [presumably referring to his wife Donna—ed.] share... she has some samples of massage music playing for the spa. I climb the stairs and go into Rhy's room and hear video games blasting.....he's kicking some guys ass on the other side of the world and he's grinning from ear to ear as victory is his... down the hall to Storm's room and I hear PINK for the 1000th time.... Frankie's room is alive with laughter and Decker is plunking away at his lil guitar... I feel left out... I need to go back down to the studio and crank up some tunes... but first I pass my laptop sitting on me and Donna's bed playing some Internet metal station and smile… Donna has been grinding away at work as usual...she needs her man to kidnap her and take her out on the Harley.... Everything is right on target....

"P.S. Me and [former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer] Tommy [Lee] did some interviews together for the DVD greatest hits that will come out this year... We laughed a lot… How could we not... We're funny..."
