NIKKI SIXX Biography To Be Reissued With New Interviews, Bonus Sampler

November 19, 2008

In the spring of 2009, Rock 'N' Roll Books/APG Distribution will reissue "An Education in Rebellion: The Biography of Nikki Sixx" with an abridgement from 2003 through 2008, including coverage of MÖTLEY CRÜE's wildly triumphant reunion tour, Sixx's hugely successful New York Times best-seller "The Heroin Diaries", the launch of his clothing line Royal Underground, the band's first-ever Crüe Fest, and recording of the band's latest studio LP, "Saints of Los Angeles", among other events. The book will feature new, exclusive interview material with Bob Rock, Tommy Lee, James Michael, Scott Humphrey, John Corabi, Dave Darling, and a host of others. As part of the reissue, a bonus sampler will be included, featuring a mix of CRÜE covers and original compositions by new rock/metal bands — unsigned or otherwise — who grew up on and were musically influenced by MÖTLEY CRÜE and/or SIXX: A.M. The sampler will also feature current/former members of MÖTLEY CRÜE, BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, RATT, CINDERELLA, QUIET RIOT, JETBOY, EXODUS, THE SCREAM, and others to be announced. Interested bands should submit an inquiry (including myspace link) to [email protected].
