NIKKI SIXX: Back In The Studio

January 21, 2003

MÖTLEY CRÜE/BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message in the "Rock'n'Roll Diary" section of CRÜE's official web site:

"Thank you all for the kind words for my son. We forwarded most of them to him and it was nice for him to read your words. He's a great 'lil guy and I know he's on his way to understanding this.

"[BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION are] back in the studio today to finish the vocals on 8 songs. All the guitars, bass and drums are done. With [drummer] Scot [Coogan], singer London [LeGrand] and [guitarist] John [Corabi]... the vocals will be done pretty quick. Then a quick mix.

"Florida was fun. Me and [wife] Donna [D'Errico] hung with [PANTERA's] Dimebag [Darrell], [ex-GUNS N' ROSES guitarist] Slash, [ex-GUNS N' ROSES bassist] Duff [McKagan], [TWISTED SISTER frontman] Dee Snider, Bo Diddly, Lil Steven, Mancow and others. There was tons of press for the event and a good buzz out there on the BRIDES, and we haven't even done anything yet.

"If we don't have our website up very soon you'll hear about a very gruesome murder in Chicago.

"Happy b day to Tracii [Guns, BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION guitarist]... You 'lil bastard... You rock...

"And last but not least... Donna's kickin' ass, I'm so proud… www.thisiszenspa.com"
